Second Floor Apartment in Shadow Mountain Resort. It is only 2 blocks from El Paseo St. where there is wonderful shopping and dining. It is perfect for couple of snow birds! It has a full kitchen with all new appliances, granite counter tops, and cupboards. Dishes, cookware, and utensils included. It has a bar with bar stools where you can watch the 24 inch flat screen TV while eating breakfast or cooking! Sit down to dinner at the table with 4 chairs. You can even have an out of town guest because the comfy sofa is a sleeper sofa. Watch the 42 inch Flat Screen Tv from the sofa or chaise lounge. The king bed can also be converted to two twin beds. Bedspreads pillows and blankets for both! There are two closets so plenty of storage room with built in shelves for additional storage. Very nice patio with view of the mountain and the gurgling creek down below. The bathroom was gutted and now has a beautiful granite topped vanity with nice lighting. The shower is newly tiled and is huge! Brand new from the ceiling fan, air conditioner, and paint on the walls, to the carpet and floor tile. What’s not to like? Designated parking space, nearby pools and jacuzzi for your use. Beautifully landscaped grounds in the exclusive gated community of Shadow Mountain. All utilities include except telephone. Casa Serenidad is within walking distance of one great golf course (Doral-Desert Princess) and less than a mile from another great new course (Escena). The clubhouse and restaurant at Escena are amazing!

Amenities:
1750 square feet; updated in 2009; 3 bedrooms; tropical back yard with pool with fountains; 50 inch flat screen TV with satellite; 2 car garage; stainless steel appliances in kitchen; granite counter tops; washer and dryer (with drying racks you can use outside to conserve energy), 2 bikes; the backyard of your dreams with lounge chairs. There is also a cozy front patio. Since Casa Serenidad is an eco-friendly house, all appliances are energy efficient, we only use green/eco-friendly/low-allergen cleaning products, we recycle, and bikes are provided!

Sliding doors connect the bright living room and dining area to the back patio, outdoor dining area, yard, and pool. Since this is an eco-friendly house, the pool is not heated, but you do have access to the heated country club pool. The outside dining area has a large table with six chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances and cooking supplies. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed, one has two twins, (with shared full bath) and the master bedroom has a queen bed, attached full bathroom and sliding glass doors leading out to the backyard. All linens, bedding, and towels are included.

Casa Serenidad is located on a quiet street of all single-family homes with no through traffic. It is a residential area with no condos or apartment buildings. The neighbors are kind and friendly. Just a few blocks away is a brand new shopping center with an upscale grocery store, a Starbucks, a cleaners, etc. Casa Serenidad is located in Rio Vista, a subdivision on the Palm Springs/Cathedral City border.

Very flexible with check-in and check-out times.
Pets are allowed for an additional cleaning/shampooing carpet fee ($100-non-refundable).

Beloved Hideaway. Relax in a private, spacious retreat in sunny Palm Springs. With 1700 sq. feet of space, there’s room for all. Single-level, ground floor (no stairs, no apartments above.) Enjoy a breakfast in the surrounding, very private garden – pick a grapefruit or lemon, listen to the gentle burbling of the fountains and contemplate the mountain view. The media room, with 55-inch high-definition TV, surround sound, Blu-ray/CD/DVD player and endless popcorn supply is great for an evening movie or a Sunday football game.

The end unit gives you privacy from the neighbors. The days are full of light, with 10-foot ceiling and skylights throughout. Cook a gourmet meal in the fully furnished kitchen. If you absolutely must exercise, swim in one of the two pools, play tennis on one of the two courts, take a leisurely walk to nearby downtown with its restaurants and galleries, or visit the Palm Springs museum for a little culture.
